1993-1997
In the year 1993, Ranger was offered in a basic body style with substantial updates with respect to design. Upgraded sound systems were added to the cabin; improved on-center steering and high-mounted third brake light were also available.

In the last generation, Ford Ranger was the best-selling compact pickup truck. It received stretch in wheelbase, greater seat-recline angle, and more legroom.
