Connecting Jumper Cables

Switch off all the unnecessary switches including ignition switch. The discharged battery positive terminal should be connected to the booster battery’s positive terminal.

One end of the second lead is connected to booster battery’s negative terminal and the other end of the lead to module mounting stud. Make sure that this second lead other end is not connected to discharged battery negative terminal and the jump leads are not closer to the moving parts.

Procedure to Change the Tires

Park the car on plane surface; switch on the danger flash lights as indicators and move the gearshift lever to park position(P).

Apply the parking brakes to make the car stand still. The opposite wheels should be blocked. Undo the lug nut of the wheel in counter clock wise and do not remove the wheel until the wheel is completely raised from the ground.

Place the jack as shown in the diagram and try to turn the handle of the jack. Take away the wheel lugs. Now, the flat tire is replaced with the older one with the valve facing outward. Re – install the lug nuts until the wheel get much closer to the hub. Do not tight the lug nuts fully until the wheel is fully grounded.

Simply lower the wheel by turning the jack handle and secure the flat tire and install the wheel covers. Finally, release parking brakes and unblock the wheels; that’s it, you’re done!
